Our Process
Whether we're working on a custom sink, fire table, mantlepiece, or something else for you, the process deviates only slightly from the steps you'll see below. While there will always be variations in the appearance of the final products — a feature that we celebrate in the handmade process — the process below has allowed us to maintain the highest quality time and time again.

Step 1: Foam Core
After we've met with you to determine your specific needs and the dimensions of your space, we'll build a custom foam core that will allow us to form a mold.
Step 2: Fine-tune the foam
After the foam core has been made, we'll fine tune the core and the foam knockout to guarantee a precision product.

Step 3: Build the mold
After we have the foam core shaped, it's time to build the mold. This is what we'll use to pour the concrete and achieve accurate dimensions. During this step, we triple check all measurements to ensure that everything will fit!
Step 4: Prepare for concrete
When all of the measurements are correct and all pieces are in place, we can place the concrete!

Step 5: Reveal the set concrete form
After the concrete has fully cured, we remove all of the mold and reveal the concrete form within! We process the concrete to ensure that it is free of imperfections and ready to be sealed. Finally, we seal the concrete to keep it watertight and ready to be used for years to come!
Step 6: Installation
Finally, we install your custom concrete piece into its new home. This is our favorite part!
