Anthony's Story
Anthony's introduction to concrete started out of necessity when he lost his corporate job during the 2008 recession.
In order to keep a roof over his family's head, food on the table. He took a construction job rebuilding the 35W bridge after it collapsed in 2007. This became the gateway to his long-standing love affair with concrete, as he became familiar with its infinite variability of shapes, colors, and purpose. He learned the craft of working with shotcrete doing cathodic protection, as well as, bridge and tunnel rehabilitation.
Fast-Forward 15 Years and Anthony has been creating unique residential projects and recently his passion has molded into custom GFRC(Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) and vertically carved concrete.
While Anthony continues to deliver quality work he is passionate about supporting originations with resources such as PTSD & PTSD Service Dogs, Suicide Prevention as well as additional organizations that focus on the health and wellbeing of all Current Serving Military Personal , Veterans, First-Responders, and their families.
Julianne's Story
Growing up with her dad was like growing up with a best friend for Julianne.
They went on adventures and created stories together. One of her favorites was building and launching model rockets. These adventures always taught her something new, whether it was acquiring a new skill, discovering something new about her dad, or learning about herself.
So, when one day he came inside from the garage with a concrete cup, Julianne couldn't help but be curious. She asked him what he intended to do with it, and he explained that it would be a little gift for his customers at CreateCrete. Seeing the opportunity to be his buddy on another adventure, Julianne suggested that they could do a little more with them and make candles. And here they are today, continuing their adventure together!
